Size of room was spacious enough for our family of 3 and we liked the convenience of having a second sink outside the bathroom. Toiletries for kids were cute - teddy bear sponges in different colours and slippers their size. Breakfast buffet was delicious and had both Western and Japanese food. The one convenience store (snacks, drinks, etc) on site was opened until 10:00pm daily - convenient. Outdoor onsen has amazing views (see website). There were enough English speaking staff at the front desk. Location was good for us as we liked skiing Annapuri (via shuttle) and Niseko Village (direct gondola access). For people that like more of a night life, Grand Hirafu area is where the action is (more restaurants, more activity, etc). The Hilton provides a free shuttle to Grand Hirafu, Hanazono and Kutchan but note timetable changes every 2 weeks as the snow season changes from peak to off-peak.

Room: stunning view from the King Panorama room which was so spacious for 3 adults. Nespresso machine was a big hit. Loved the huge shower with floor heating. Location: suited us as we preferred Annupuri & Niseko Village slopes to Hirafu- much less congested. Very convenient hotel shuttle to Hirafu slopes and restaurants. For Annupuri you have to take the public bus which can get crowded at the end of the day esp with queue jumpers. Ski valet service was very efficient for storing ski gear. Restaurants: Amazing buffet breakfast. Shabushabu at Sisam was pricey but so filling, even our boys who are bottomless pits were full. Walking distance (<5min) to Niseko Yo allowed for more choice of meals. Would recommend Gogyo & Hokkaien Yakiniku.

Location is amazing, ski slope ends right in front of the lobby which allowed for easy rest stops for water breaks when tired! Niseko village dining options are also available just 3 mins walk away and they are much cheaper as well. But only opens at 11-3 and 5.30 onwards and are usually fully packed during peak seasons. The outdoor onsen views are amazing in winter time and the ski velvet makes things super convenient. Having the ski school, clothing rental and ski pass purchase counter right outside the hotel also ensure that you have everything you need. My parents were not planning to ski but there were winter activities such as the motor sleds available just right outside the hotel as well!

Where to begin. We went in winter and it was probably the best holiday I've ever had. Snowfalls like you wouldn't believe - literally a foot of fresh powder. Every. Single. Night. For ten straight days! The onsens were amazing, sitting outside in the scorching hot water while big fat snowflakes drift down on you from between the trees. Absolutely magic. Everywhere you looked it was pristine deep powder and trees hanging low under the weight of the snow. The breakfast was the most epic buffet I've ever seen, with the most amazing views of Mt Yotei and surrounding hills. Honestly, not a bad word can be said about the experience except maybe the price being a little high!

King Panorama room had amazing views, the most spacious room we have ever had in a ski resort. Husband loved the Nespresso machine. I I loved the floor heating in the bathroom. Buffet breakfast amazing esp the Japanese dishes. Location : true ski in ski out. Hotel shuttle to Hirafu area. Public bus to Annapuri area. Ski hire right next door. Just check your equipment sizes before you leave- some of our party were given different sized boots
